  Ladies, please avoid getting your hair done here!
  If you have natural hair, you’ll find yourself very familiar with protective styles that are stylish and cute. I opted for Marley Twists. If you’re on a budget, like myself, you’ll study all ends of YouTube learning how to accomplish said protective styles yourself. After one too many failed attempts, silly me, also opted to attend this shop to achieve the look. Everyone knows when you burn synthetic hair, it sticks to itself and everything else, so, you don’t burn it. Well, each Marley Twist that was put in my hair had been burned individually. When I move, they don’t move. Simply put, I didn’t like my hair when I left the shop, but I tried to give it some time. I washed it, I dipped it, I tried leave in conditioner, shea butter, an entire bottle of oil, nothing has helped the sticking. Last resort, I go back to the shop a week after having my hair done as they have a two week guarantee posted on the wall. The “manager” as she called herself becomes rude and irate because she doesn’t see anything wrong with my hair and how it sticks to my clothes and to itself. I was not rude, I did not combat her, nor did I stomp off with an attitude. She offered to trim it, again, and dip it, again. However, I have tried these things myself. I asked her if it could be redone, she said no. I asked her if I take it down, can I have another hair style, even a cheaper one, she said no. I liked my hairstyle, I did not like how my hair was done. I did not like the way the shop responded to the fact that I did not like my hair. So, not only did I waste my only day off getting my hair done (which as you know hurt terribly because this is suppose to be an African braiding shop) it was a waste of $180. My money nor my time can be replaced.
  P.S. burning the hair was the major problem I had. I didn’t add how my twists were different sizes and lengths all around. There is no clear consistency. It is very sloppy work.
